  December 02, 1996  Today's Golden Oldie is from December 1996. Fifteen years ago this month.
I've always had two weaknesses. One is a love of "Good News, Bad News" jokes and the other is a compulsion to go for a laugh when the situation seems frightening.
This King Solomon cartoon about a threat from Syria is an example of both.
